A DECADE OF THE VISION ZERO FUND

Vision Zero Fund Anniversary Event
The Vision Zero Fund is a G7-initiated global initiative that works with governments, employers, and workers to eliminate fatal and serious occupational accidents and diseases in global supply chains, with a particular focus on developing countries. Through collective action, the Fund supports safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplaces across high-risk sectors, contributing to inclusive and equitable development worldwide.
The event marked the Fund’s first decade and offered an opportunity to reflect on its key achievements, lessons learned, and future priorities. It convened global leaders, experts, and stakeholders. to advance occupational safety and health in global supply chains. The programme will included a plenary session dedicated to the Fund’s achievements, challenges, and strategic outlook, alongside three thematic sessions showcasing how the Fund’s collective action model has delivered tangible improvements in the lives of workers worldwide.
The event was opened by H.E. Bärbel Bas, Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of Germany and Gilbert F. Houngbo, Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
